Founder, Life Cycle Engineering

Massimo is an Environmental Engineer graduated at the Polytechnic University of Torino with a Ph.D. (doctoral degree) in Life Cycle Assessment. He is one of the founders and ordinary members of Life Cycle Engineering (www.lcengineering.eu) a consultant company where he coordinates several projects for important companies/organizations mainly in the food field such as Barilla, COOP Italia, Esselunga, Granarolo, Assocarni, Unaitalia, Assica, etc. At present, the application of the life cycle thinking approach to the agricultural and food industry probably represents the most relevant activity for him. For many years, Massimo acted as a Chairman of the Technical Committee of the International EPD® System (www.environdec.com). He is co-author of 4 books on LCA and many scientific publications. Recently he wrote a book about the sustainability of food (www.ilciboperfetto.it)
