The event focuses on the planning of AZAs (Aquaculture Areas/Zones) as a strategic lever to strengthen aquaculture resilience. Through institutional and scientific contributions and regional case studies, models, data and operational tools for AZA designation will be explored, with a focus on challenges, opportunities and coexistence with other maritime uses. The meeting will conclude with a round table discussion among research bodies, institutions and sector representatives.
