A workshop will be held to present the Market Research on Business Opportunities in the Fisheries and Agri-food Sectors in Eritrea. The study was conducted by ITA – Italian Trade Agency.
Organized with the support of IL PESCE magazine, the event will take place in a hybrid format: in person at the Sala Inferiore Conference Room for attendees of this key industry event, and via live streaming on Zoom.
The objective of the event is to present an organic, realistic, and actionable framework for the sustainable development of the Eritrean fisheries supply chain, encompassing both marine and inland sectors. The workshop will explore constraints and opportunities through the presentation of robust programs designed to stimulate inclusive growth, entrepreneurship, technological innovation, and increased trade between Italy and Eritrea.
Thanks to the cooperation of the Eritrean authorities, Italian experts developed this research based on site visits and interviews conducted across the country’s main production areas.
The seminar will provide an important opportunity for dialogue between consultants, local authorities, and stakeholders from the entire fisheries supply chain, with the aim of exploring cooperation opportunities between the two countries. The ultimate goal is to foster technological development, environmental protection, and promote fish consumption as an integral part of a healthy diet.
