Agronomic Applications – biofertilizerts and biostimulants from microalgae

Abstract
The main topic of the presentation will be the use of microalgae as such or their extracts as inputs in agriculture.
An excursus will be made starting from historically adopted practices (eg algalization), to the most modern ones (use of extracts and hydrolysates via foliar applications of fertigation), with a brief focus on SICIT activity and on the research project in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Engineering of Padua University on to the use of microalgae as a raw material for the production of biostimulants.
