Organized by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)

SVC4MED (“Improving Fisheries and Aquaculture Value Chains in the Mediterranean within the Blue Growth Initiative”) is a project aiming to identify strategies for enhancing the sustainability and competitiveness of aquaculture and fisheries value chains. The session will combine case studies on trout value chains from project countries (Italy, Albania, Lebanon), as well as Black Sea-bordering countries (Georgia, Bulgaria and Türkiye), providing an occasion to learn from a diverse set of contexts and develop an understanding of the main opportunities and challenges to sustainable growth and the most effective ways to address them.
