Biography:
In 2006, after finishing his Master (M.Sc.) studies in Fishery Science and Aquaculture, Alexander Rose started to work as Farm Manager in trout production in Normandy/France. Some years later he became Project Manager for an international aquaculture systems supplier and managed the design and construction for several land-based fish farms. In 2011 Alexander founded WATER – proved, your partner for all aspects of aquaculture-equpiment, system design and farm construction.

Abstract:
Nearly all fish farms in southern and central Europe are facing multiple challenges. Reduced inlet water volumes, raising water temperatures and energy prices in addition to higher official requirements to the quality of the outlet water. To keep actual production volumes or even raise them as well as to ensure profitability of operations, advanced and well-developed farm engineering and design is crucial and more important than ever before.
This workshop will give you an overview of the possibilities how to prepare your farms for those challenges.
